The Will to Stay With It: Role Models of Determination provides role models of determination worthy of emulation through profiles of thirty-five strong-willed men and women. The biographical sketches represent seven categories of determination:

    Reformers/Pioneers — women who were         activists and trailblazers
    Ecclestics/Religious Leaders — men who         were church leaders and martyrs
    Scientists/Inventors — individuals who were         innovators and developers
    Organizers/Planners — people who were         creators and managers
    Luminaries/Notables — men and women         who were authors and doers
    Victors/Leaders — military men/visionaries
    Entrepreneurs/Achievers — people of accomplishment.

These achievers inspire us by their example.
