With plenty of snow, and temperatures great for snowmaking - the Finger Lakes offer a number of great options for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. The ski areas in the region range from the big (Bristol Mountain - which has the largest vertical rise of any resort between the Adirondacks and the Rockies) to the very small (Four Seasons - with only an 80 foot vertical drop!).
