The Merry-Go-Round Playhouse

Known as the home of “Broadway in the Finger Lakes,” the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse at Emerson Park in Auburn, NY produces renowned musical and youth theater productions. The Preston H. Thomas Theatre, which was renovated in 2004, seats just over 500 patrons. A new orchestra pit, high tech lighting and a state-of-the-art sound system have all added a new dimension to the theatrical experience. The Playhouse typically puts on five shows between June and September. Examples of past shows include Footloose, Les Miserables and Chicago.
