THE WILLARD MEMORIAL CHAPEL

The Auburn Theological Seminary was built in 1820-21 and served as an educational facility to prepare clergymen for their lives in religious service. The Seminary had two buildings, The Welch Memorial Building and The Willard Memorial Chapel, which is now on the National Register of Historic Places and exists as the only surviving example of a complete Louis C. Tiffany interior space. The Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company was hired to design the space, which is currently used for private services, weddings and events. The Chapel is open for tours Tuesday – Friday from 10 am – 4 pm except on holidays. Tours commence on the hour. Call (315) 252-0339 for more information.
