It’s time–23rd Annual Grassroots Festival!

Come celebrate summer in the Finger Lakes, July 18-21st, at the 23rd Annual  GrassRoots Festival of Music & Danceat the Trumansburg Fairgrounds in Trumansburg, New York!

A music lover’s paradise—the Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival presents over 60 bands gathering on four stages over four days (Thursday through Sunday) to create an experience not to be missed!

Years ago, the GrassRoots tradition began as a benefit concert for a local AIDS support organization called AIDSwork at the State Theater in Ithaca, New York, featuring Donna the Buffalo, The Horse Flies, and Neon Baptist.  The successful event inspired members of Donna the Buffalo to create a festival that would continue to raise money for the fight against AIDS and other worthy causes, provide regional and national exposure for excellent local musicians, and expose the local and regional music lovers to excellent national and international artists.  The idea proved to be success and has since grown into a nationally recognized event, focusing on traditional and contemporary roots music.

Don’t miss this GrassRoots experience–tickets are still available!
