Dickens Christmas in Skaneateles!

Fill up on holiday cheer and revel in the merry-making happening on the streets of Skaneateles as the charming lakeside village celebrates its annual Dickens Christmas, every weekend in December from noon until four through December 24th.

Take a drive with your family for an afternoon, or book a romantic room in the quaint little village to celebrate the joys of the season and the beauty of one of the Finger Lakes’ gems.  A cast of over 50 characters dressed in authentic period costumes brings the streets of Skaneateles to life, serenading passersby with Christmas carols and tidings of joy. Dickens_Skaneateles_G.Knight (800x556)

Enjoy free horse-drawn wagon rides through the village, holiday stories for children at the local library, a Christmas Carol Sing-a-long at the Gazebo by the lake, and treats from Father Christmas.

Stroll along Genesee, Jordan, and Fennell Streets to check out the quaint shops, boutiques, and restaurants.  Warm up with hot cocoa and a sweet treat from one of the charming patisseries, bakeries, or coffee shops, or grab a bite to eat at one of the tasty cafes or restaurants.

Take it all in as Charles Dickens’ vision of Christmas stirs up excitement for the holidays in one of the Finger Lakes’ most picturesque locations at the northern tip of stunning Skaneateles Lake.

Happy Holidays!!
