WELLS COLLEGE

Founded in 1868, Wells College is one of the oldest liberal arts colleges in the United States. The campus is situated overlooking beautiful Cayuga Lake. The small college, which once only admitted females, became coeducational in 2005 and now enrolls around 600 students. With over 30 areas of study, the school provides a diverse education focusing on experiential learning and service. Average class size is about 13 students allowing for individualized instruction and a focus on student-faculty collaboration. Outside the classroom, students stay busy with a range of intercollegiate and intramural athletics from cross-country to swimming and golf. A host of clubs and activities give students plenty to be involved with on this lively Finger Lakes campus.
