Ithaca Beer Co.

Brewery, Beer Garden & Taproom

The Taproom at Ithaca Beer Co. by G. Knight

There’s a new brewery in town–well, fancy new brewery serving up new and improved versions of the local craft brew you know and love!

In the fall of 2012, Ithaca Beer Co. opened its impressive new facility at 122 Ithaca Beer Drive in Ithaca, New York, featuring a state-of-the-art brewery, beer garden, and taproom.

Sample some of the latest beers on tap and pair them with a tasty meal from the taproom menu, featuring carniverous, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free foods made from locally-sourced ingredients, local wineries, and regional distilleries.

Take a tour of the brewery, taste a flight at the bar, grab a bite to eat with the family, or sip a pint on the patio and enjoy the bocce court, fire pit, and plenty of outdoor seating.

History

Established in 1998, Ithaca Beer Co. was founded by Dan Mitchell, who had hopes of creating a local brewery that would exemplify the "Spirit of the Finger Lakes." The idea began in 1995, the brewing system was purchased in 1997, and by the end of 1998, Ithaca Beer Co. was brewing beer and opened its doors in Ithaca, New York, with a mission of brewing delicious beers for the purpose of making life more enjoyable.

Since then, the award-winning beers have made a name for themselves in the Finger Lakes and beyond and are now available throughout New York State, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Ohio, with plans to expand.
