Lodging

The Finger Lakes offer a wide range of lodging options for visitors to the region—from luxury spas to campgrounds, and everything in between. No matter your requirement, there's a perfect place to stay for every taste and every budget.

The choices of lodging vary from lake to lake. Skaneateles, Cayuga, Keuka and Seneca lakes are among the more well-developed lakes, and these are where you'll find the broadest range of choices of places to stay. The lesser Finger Lakes aren’t as developed and may only have a handful of lodging options.

When choosing a place to stay, it pays to give some thought as to how you plan to spend your time. If you intend to spend a lot of time at the hotel or in the immediate surroundings, an inn or comfortable B&B may be the best choice. If you plan to spend your days exploring the region, a chain motel or hotel might be a better choice. Want to spend your days on the lake? A lake front house may be the best option for you.

With all of these lodging options, you'll always find lower rates off-season—and that's when you're most likely able to negotiate the most favorable pricing.

Wherever you choose to stay, you're sure to have a great time visiting the Finger lakes.
