Fall Foliage season has arrived in the Finger Lakes! From late September through late October visitors will have a chance to see the region blanketed in amazing colors.

When do the leaves change in the Finger Lakes?

The timing of “Peak Color” varies every year, but more often than not happens during the middle two weeks of October (ie, October 7th-21st or so). In 2022, color came later than normal while in 2020 the leaves peaked between October 7-13, with 75% of color change in the Finger Lakes. In 2019, fall foliage reached its peak later than normal, between October 23-29, in the Finger Lakes. While the timing fluctuates each year, late September through mid-October typically offer a good chance for a spectacular show.
