Ganondagan State Historic Site

Ganondagan State Historic site in Victor, NY was home to the Seneca Native American tribe during the 17th century. See how native people lived by exploring the bark longhouse replica complete with weapons, tools and clothing, all made by master craftsmen. Walk atop the mesa where you can view a spectacular panorama of the lake and rolling hills. The site’s trails are interpretive and each one explains different Seneca customs and beliefs. The visitor’s center has Seneca artwork on display as well as a 30-minute video about the history of the Ganondagan people and longhouse construction.
