The annual Finger Lakes Wine Festival takes place every July in Watkins Glen, NY at the southern tip of Lake Seneca. In the past, over eighty local and visiting wineries have participated in the weekend-long festival. Artists, musicians, jewelers, culinary exhibitionists and experts in the field of wine-making also attend, offering a range of activities to enjoy. The festival now includes a night devoted to cheese and wine tasting as well as a “Brewer’s Garden” that includes brewmasters and microbreweries from upstate New York and the rest of the country.
The 2010 festival kicks off the evening of Friday July 16th and runs through Sunday the 18th. Tickets range from $25-30 for one-day passes and $35-40 for weekend passes.
