About:

Named after a family vineyard in Italy, Casa Larga produced its first vintage, and Estate White (currently Pallido) and Estate Red (currently Tramonto) in 1978, the latter winning Silver and Gold at the New York State Wine Competition. Casa Larga grows two varietal classes – the European Vinifera and French-American Hybrids. Particular varieties include Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Muscat D’Ottonel, Vidal, DeChaunac, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. They also produce Ice Wine using the traditional, authentic methods of the German Eiswein technique. You can see the full list of award-winning wines here.
