The South end of Owasco lake is good for panfishing, northern pike and smallmouth bass fishing. Trout fishing is excellent year round, but particularly during May, June and September. In the winter, Owasco Lake is a good ice fishing location for trout and especially on years when safe ice forms around Ensenore Point Panfish and northern pike can particularly.

TIPS & NOTES

Ensenore Point, on the southwestern shore, is particularly good for lake trout and brown trout. And in the winter, this is among the best spots for ice fishing. At the north end of the lake, all the way from Martin Point to Long Point, you’re likely to find excellent bass fishing.
